Why Donate
Survivor Resources is a volunteer-driven, non-profit program coordinated by three paid positions and reviewed by a Board of Directors. The program has limited government funding, and depends greatly on the generosity of community members to maintain its level of service.
To give you an idea of how much our organization does, take a look at these statistics from 2008:
- 640 new clients were served
- 39 weeks of group sessions were held for bridge collapse survivors
- 35 weeks of group sessions were held for survivors of homicide, suicide, and accident
Survivor Resources needs ongoing financial support to maintain existing programs in St. Paul/Ramsey County and Minneapolis/Hennepin County. We hope you never need our services. But if you or your employees ever suffer a tragic loss of a loved one, we want to be available.
